Museum of Art Casting

See more than 2800 different gypsum and metal models in the “Schaudepot” (viewable storage area) of the former Bronze school. They tell the story of 200 years of art foundry in Lauchhammer. Famous artists of different times let their art be cast in Lauchhammer and sent it to all around the world. The molds for the metal casting stayed there and give a historical review of past ages of art and civilization. Also see metal dishes, furniture and other article of daily use. The nearby art foundry regularly shows the casting of a bell.
