Teltow Museum of Industry
With development of the Teltow Canal in the early 20th century, the industrial boom started in the region Teltow-Stahnsdorf-Kleinmachnow. The Teltow Museum of Industry shows this industrial development. See historical exhibits, documents and wall charts about former companies and industrial facilities: porcelain fabrication, electrical engineering, telecommunication engineering, precision mechanics and automation, chemistry and biotechnology.
Gain insight into the research institute of the “Reichspost”, established since 1937. They had a major role in the development of television and communication engineering and done research in the range of military radar engineering and nuclear physics. The museum has a career guidance center. Students, parents and teachers get some current information about different occupational areas.
